Magic words 臨兵闘者皆陣列在前
Some HATER designs focuses on styling, but this piece has real meaning behind the use of the 9 Japanese Character - featuring:
- Cotton baseball cap exterior
- Nine words mantra on wearer's front
- Gold plated strapback closure
- 臨/Rin: come
- 闘/Tō: fight
- 皆/Kai: ready
- 列/Retsu: line-up
- 前/Zen: in front
- 兵/Pyō: warriors
- 者/Shā: one
- 陣/Jin: formation
- 在/Zai: take position
Thus the essence of the meaning of the ku-ji mantra can be roughly translated as,
- Japanese: "Come warriors, fight as one, ready in formation, line up and take position in front. Victory!"
Each of the nine syllables has a meaning that when integrated with the corresponding mantra. In general it can be said that ku-ji is the harnessing and control of psychospiritual or psychophysical energies.
We love this cap not just that it looks awesome but the meaning behind the words used in design. We hope that you stay strong when faces with struggles. Tough times don't last, Tough People do.
About the brand
Hater's unique flavour has now set a new benchmark for trends in snapback design worldwide. In 2012 IDC group in Hong Kong and Blinker brand in Taiwan decided to launch a small line of unique hats into the local Asian market. Within 6 months the hats were featured in blogs worldwide and fashion/music celebrities quickly jumped in to support the underground startup and before they knew it, the small start up went global. As seen on stars such as Nicki Minaj and Tone the Goat.
